Tasting Note
Youthful red ruby color, transparent with flashes of purple. Med+ aromas rise easily from the glass like a perfume of fresh red fruits of cherry, raspberries, and red currants, with notes of subtle spices and dried herbs accenting the beautiful red fruits, lifted and fresh in character in the nose. The palate has a med+ body and tannin that are ripe and perfectly integrated. The flavor intensity adds a stone/minerality component, is med+ verging on high, but the weight is elegant and barely there, the wine floats over the palate with a ton of flavor and depth. Long and persistent on the finish, well over a minute with the fruit, spice, and freshness that add up to a very pleasing close. Outstanding!
