Grape: 100% Cannonau (Grenache), 14.5% abv
Terroir: .35 hectare site of calcareous granite soils, 2,460m above sea level, south facing

Limited: 1,000 bottle production
Sites: Ghirada (Ghirada = Cru): Sa Lahana
Winemaking: Destemmed. Fermentation in open-top wood vats on the skins with 2-3 daily punching down for 15-20 days. Soft pressing post ferment. Aging for 12 months in large, neutral French oak tonneau. Refinement in bottle 12 months.

No Tasting Note On This One - Did Not Taste
Based on the description from my importer who tasted all of these, I am looking forward to tasting this one. The intensity is closely aligned to the Nigheddu (search on this website) with a little more structure and slightly darker red fruits. Sounds like another winner to me!
