Wine Critic Reviews
The Wine Palate (99): The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon consists of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Its deep garnet-purple in color, requiring significant aeration to reveal restrained notes of black raspberries, fresh blackcurrants, and red currant jelly, with hints of iron ore, bay leaves, sandalwood, and lavender oil. Full-bodied, the palate features bold black and red fruits, supported by firm tannins and vibrant freshness, finishing long and spicy. It's very tightly wound and youthful at this stage and while it is likely to be holding back, I've scored it as it is today, expecting it to move up that final tick in years to come.
