Pazo Señorans' Albariño 2024 is a testament to the exquisite potential of the Albariño grape. This white table wine from the Rias Baixas region in Spain delivers a bouquet of bright citrus, stone fruit, and white flowers, showcasing the vineyard's dedication to quality and craftsmanship. The wine's high acidity and lees aging lend it a remarkable structure, making it both refreshing and complex.

Composition: 100% Albariño. Vine age and soil type: Pergola-trained fruit from small vineyards in the Salnes Valley.
Winemaking: Fermented in cool stainless steel tanks for precision and freshness.
Aging: Aged on fine lees for up to 11 months, enhancing texture and depth.

Wine Critic Reviews

Wine Review Online (91): I would guess that people who drink Albariño today – and there are lots of them, as it has become America’s Spanish darling – might have been Chenin Blanc drinkers in earlier times, as both wines straddle the border in having both floral and vegetal flavors. This one has lots of pleasant metallic minerality, lots of fruitiness, yet also has some hints of earthiness. The flavors are mainly akin to apples – firm apples in the foretaste and apple pie in the aftertaste.

Falstaff (91): Fresh nose with notes of peach, apple and citrus fruits. Hints of tropical fruit and white flowers. Juicy on the palate, with yellow stone fruit, citrus and a long, salty finish.
