The 2023 Côte de Nuits Villages, which includes 30% whole bunch, offers blackcurrant and light raspberry fruit on the nose, as touches of iris flower come through with time. The palate is medium-bodied and harmonious with pliant tannins. More controlled and complex than the Bourgogne Rouge, this displays just a very slight confit note on the finish but is otherwise a quite delicious Côte de Nuits Village from Esmonin.
