The lieu-dit Les Grandes Gouttes sits at the southern edge of Meursault on border with Puligny, just a few hundred meters below the Premier Cru vineyard Les Charmes.

Racked, and so far without sulphur. There is time to decide while the wine remains en masse, but as Pierre-Henri has two tanks he may do add sulphur to one and continue without added sulphur for the other. Pretty mid lemon colour. The first nose is faintly oxidative, but not the wine underneath. Very fresh apples on the palate, though feeling ripe, and good enough acidity in this cuvée. Excellent body, very promising for the future. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted Oct 2023.
