The Latitude 45 Pinot Noir from Left Coast Estate is cultivated in a unique terroir directly intersected by the 45th parallel. This vineyard, with its vibrant silt loam soil known as Chehulpum, imparts a distinct 'dusty' character to the wine. The Pinot Noir produced here is recognized for its red fruit notes and spiciness, a true reflection of its environment.
Composition: Pinot Noir (Dijon clones 114, 115, 667, 777) grafted onto 101-14 and SO4 rootstocks. Vine age: Planted in 2001. Soil type: Chehulpum silt loam.
