Our Tasting Note:
Medium-minus transparent ruby red. The nose rises easily from the glass (med+) with mixed fresh red fruits of strawberry and cherry, a subtle, pleasant bitterness, herbs like mint and sage, some mild reduction too that blew off with air. The palate is medium bodied, fresh, with subtle med/med+ acidity, an elegant, pretty, a persistent palate intensity and long finish. Such a pretty (and cool) wine.
Grapes: Alvarelhão, Pedral, Cainho
PH: 3.33
Aging Potential: 7 years

Total acidity: 5.5 g/L
Pardusco was the name given to red wines with little color, moderate alcohol content and that traveled well, that is, aged well. At the time they did not yet have the designation of Vinho Verde and later to distinguish themselves from them they called it "mature wine of Monção".
Hand harvest at a perfect maturation point. Bunches de-stemmed and cold maceration. Long fermentation at a low temperature. Complete malolactic fermentation.
Fooding pairing: Ideal for pairing with white meat (duck or turkey for example) and cured cheeses.
