Podere Ruggeri Corsini

Ruggeri Corsini Barolo Bricco San Pietro 2018 is an elegant wine, round and with distinct floral notes which include violet, rose and a hint of balsamic. This is a very traditional Barolo that is ready to drink now. It comes from soil has more sand and is in a steep vineyard with an eastern exposure.
Although it can be appreciated after 4-6 years, it reaches its peak after 10 years of aging, and is still excellent even after 20 years or more. Maceration lasts 15-18 days. After racking, malolactic fermentation occurs, the wine is then put to stand in Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months.
93 Points The Real Review - "Garnet with brick edges. On the nose, there are savory, ferrous, blood aromas intermingled with dark berry fruits, liquorice and a hint of grilled meat while the palate offers juicy dark cherry and blueberry flavors with tangy acidity and a thread of iron filing minerality, the tannins firm though fine, and a long, lightly blood-stained and savory finish. A chiseled wine of solid depth and muscle" Drink 2024-2042
