The mostly dry (for a Port) NV 10 Years Old Extra Dry White Port Manoella was bottled with only 30 grams per liter of residual sugar. This has a nuttier nose, with a more oxidative side, perhaps saltier and tastier, with more umami, subtle notes of candied orange and has the elegance of white Ports. Clean, precise and long.
Wine & Soul, Jorge Serôdio and Sandra Tavares, have concentrated their efforts in the last years in the vineyards. They have grown from the initial two hectares for Pintas to over 40 hectares today. The portfolio has also grown, and so have volumes. They now produce 180,000 bottles, including Port.
Manoella 10 Year Extra Dry Branco Port is a blend of Extra Dry White Ports from a field blend of Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega do Larinho and Gouveio, sourced from high altitude old vineyards. All of the wines crafted by Sandra and Jorge Serôdio Borges are known for being very distinctive, elegant, and pure.
