From a north-facing Pinot Noir vineyard in Chavot-Courcourt planted in 1983, where 1.5 meters of clay rest above limestone, Laherte’s 2020 Blanc de Noirs Les Rouges Maisons was matured for 18 months in oak with minimal lees stirring, then disgorged in November 2024 with two grams per liter dosage. Entirely from the 2020 vintage, it presents aromas of pear, orange zest and pastry mingling with hints of nutmeg. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, textural and vibrant, with bright acidity and a long, chalky finish. Despite extended élevage, it retains freshness and balance. Drinking Window 2025 - 2034

The NV (2020) Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs Les Rouges Maisons, 100% Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1983, is creamy and expansive on the palate. Kirsch, plum, red cherry, spice, dried flowers and crushed autumn leaves all grace this super-expressive Champagne. The aromatics alone are utterly beguiling. 100% Pinot Noir  from the estate vineyard in Chavot. The soils are fairly deep with an important presence of clay, flints and schists. Chalky subsoils. Plots planted in 1983. This cuvée is the result of a long work and attention in the vines and as well in the winery: waiting for the grapes to ripen, slow fermentation in barrels, and aging for 18 months on fine lees in used barrels… all this in order to reveal the richness and complexity of Pinot Noir… with finesse!
