The 2022 Barbaresco Rabajà is another classy, polished wine from the Rocca family. The breadth and power of Rabajà are evident in this strapping young Barbaresco. Dark Nebbiolo fruit, rose petal, mint, dried herbs and gravel are some of the many notes that come alive in the glass. This really explodes on the back end. Superb.

Soil: Calcareous clay
Elevation: 310m above sea level, southwest facing
Age of Vines: 50 years, 3.5 hectares
Farming: Sustainable/practicing organic
Fermentation: Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vessel for three weeks. Malolactic fermentation in wood barrel.
Aging: 12 months, in a mix of traditional neutral botti and oak barriques at least 40 months old, seasoned outside to minimize imprint on the finished wine.
