Wine Critic Reviews
Wine Enthusiast (90): A majority of Pinot Noir is very much in the Josselin house style. Here, allied to Chardonnay, it brings the weight with contrasting minerality from the Chardonnay. This is a young Champagne, crisp with green-apple flavors. Drink this bottling from 2023.
Wine Enthusiast (88): This nonvintage blend from this Aube-based grower brings together Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is ripe and well balanced, with good acidity that has been tamed by rounded apple flavors. The tangy aftertaste will be even better from 2020.
Wine Enthusiast (87): This is a young, fruity wine with crisp apple acidity and a slight edge of tannin. Dominated by Pinot Noir, it needs to soften and fill out to bring out. Drink from 2018.
Gilbert & Gaillard (80): Clear, light yellow. Very subdued floral and fruity nose. Fairly lively attack on the palate leading into a fleshy, fruit-forward mid-palate. Fruity, vegetal finish that retains a fairly austere character. Drink well-chilled as an aperitif.
