The 2020 Les Cedres Chardonnay is sold under the label of Anne and Jean-François Ganevat, their négoce range. The wine comes from purchased grapes from Lavigny close to Château Chalon on red marl and limestone soils, and it was vinified and aged like the domaine's wines, with natural yeasts, no sulfur and with more than three years in used foudres. It feels very stable, with a subtle nose and a gentle palate and mouthfeel, round with some honeyed undertones. It's polished and reveals a limestone thread with a chalky feeling. It's a Chardonnay of finesse.
