Experience the unique taste of Finca Viladellops L.D. Ancestral, a sparkling wine crafted from the finest red Xarel·lo grapes, hand-picked from the vineyard nestled in the Garraf Massif. This wine is celebrated for its soft onion skin colour, fresh aromas, and creamy aging notes that are perfectly balanced with well-integrated carbonation. The wine's slight bitter notes and earthy minerality offer a long and elegant aftertaste.
Composition: 100% Red Xarel·lo. Vine age and soil type: Clay-limestone soil, bush vines planted in 1972.
Winemaking: Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15ºC. Bottling occurred when residual sugar was around 22 g/l.
Aging: Aged 30 months with 2 pontages, completing fermentation in the bottle without added sugar or additives. Disgorged after 9 months of aging on lees.
