“The 2023 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes offers fabulous notes of black cherries, licorice, roasted garrigue, and peppery Provençal nuances. These all carry to a medium to full-bodied Gigondas offering ample mid-palate depth, sweet tannins, and a great finish.”

Terroir: Stony soil from the Quaternary period and torrential deposit. Plots located on the lower terraces of the Gigondas appellation.
Grape varieties: Grenache 80%, Mourvèdre 20%
Vine age: Average age of 40 years, Grenache (1964) Mourvèdre (1977).
Winemaking: Blending during fermentation. Maceration for 5 weeks in concrete tanks.

Aging: For 12 months in oak casks. Bottled without fining or filtration.
