Wine Enthusiast (95): Baked golden delicious apples intertwine with a fine thread of vanilla, surrounded by ripe peaches, lemon verbena zest, fresh pineapple oil, and white wildflowers. This wine exudes luxury and exuberance. On the palate, Marcona almonds take center stage, framed by delicate wildflowers, white mushroom, and fine vanilla. Textured and balanced by refreshing acidity, it finishes with a light, pulverized stone character that coats the palate. Enjoyable now with a proper decant, or cellar through 2030+ before revisiting.
