Falstaff (91): Intense ruby red with rim brightening on the rim. On the nose there is a lot of notes of cherries and cassis and behind it some vanilla. The palate has a lot of coffee and dark chocolate, is balanced and round with ripe tannins, dancing acidity, spicy finish, good length.

Falstaff (90): Rich ruby red with a bright core. Reminiscent of ripe wild berries and cloves, fruit tea, accompanied by fine wood spice in the background. Ripe cherry, tobacco and leather on the palate, rich, ripe fruit notes with hints of violets, slightly rough tannins, earthy, with a slight aftertaste.
