Composition: Predominantly Sangiovese grapes cultivated at 310 meters above sea level. Alberese Limestone, Galestro (Schist), and Macigno del Chianti (Sandstone) soils. Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts; maceration for three weeks at controlled temperatures. Aging: At least 24 months in a single 38 hl French oak barrel, followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
