A strikingly fresh, cool and pretty nose combines notes of citrus, acacia blossom and green apple. There is excellent underlying tension to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality that adds a sense of lift to the already complex, lingering and well-balanced finish. Lovely.

"Very refined, crisp, touch of reduction on the nose and palate, this is a lovely, lean and delicate iteration of Puligny. Certainly, more precise than the broader Chassagne, there are intriguing notes of citrus and lime zest, allied to subtle mineral notes. 20% new oak is very restrained. Worth keeping for at least 12 months to allow more flavors to emerge."
