Terroir
Sourced from clay-limestone soils in the hills west of the Côte de Nuits, where cooler evenings and stony, chalk-inflected subsoils keep acids vivid and aromatics precise. The higher elevation of these sites extends the ripening curve, yielding a white that’s both incisive and finely textured, with a distinct limestone imprint.
Tasting Notes
Lifted aromas of lemon zest, green pear, white flowers, and crushed stone lead into a crisp, medium-bodied palate. Sleek citrus and orchard fruit are laced with saline minerality and a whisper of almond from time on lees. The finish is clean, lightly chalky, and mouthwatering—excellent as an aperitif and spot-on with shellfish, simply grilled fish, goat cheese, or spring vegetables.
Serving & Drinking Window
Serve at 10–12°C (50–54°F). Enjoy now for its snap and purity, or through 2027 as the leesy nuance rounds out.
