Wines are vinified and aged in oak, but only very rarely show any traces of wood. These Champagnes age beautifully, as I have seen for myself on many occasions. Vilmart fans will not want to miss the new Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs Les Blanches Voies, a terrific addition to the range. As good as the top wines are, Vilmart also excels with their entry-level offerings.
