I was genuinely impressed with the 2024 Bianca degli Svevi, a dry blend of Müller-Thurgau and Gewürztraminer that matures for three months on lees. The team also presented the 2011 and 2004 Aglianico del Vulture Re Manfredi. Both display remarkable freshness, with the 2004 showing particularly well. Oak really comes into the mix in the 2019 Serpara, which was aged for 24 months in barrique and then 24 months in large cask, but the wood has integrated beautifully.
