Only a handful of people have made a Clos de la Truffiere, mostly because the Jouard family owns the entire small walled-in vineyard.  It is a very special site for the family, Paul and Delphine even had their wedding pictures taken in this vineyard. Interestingly, it is just \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ea stone's throw from the Montrachet Grand Cru vineyard\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.  The northernmost vineyard in Chassagne-Montrachet, it is located above Les Vergers on the border with Saint Aubin.  It is a bit higher on the slope than most of the higher elevation CM sites - a GREAT thing in the current climate change world we live in.
