Here we have yellow peach, sea salt, toasted sage leaf (even bay), quince, fig and white flowers. The acidity is prodigious, and this serves as a prop in the middle of the palate, providing real tension and fierceness to the otherwise ripe fruit. This is a very good wine, and the length through the finish is impressive. 13.6% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cb\u003e2025 Growing Season at Kumeu\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe 2025 harvest season was notably dry. Harvest commenced with the early sparkling wine varieties on February 4, followed by 17 millimeters of rain one week later, shortly before the start of the table wine harvest. Conditions then remained largely dry through to the completion of the vintage on March 17. The wines were all vinified using the same method. The fruit was hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed before undergoing fermentation with indigenous yeast. Fermentation took place entirely in French oak barrels, followed by 100% malolactic fermentation.
