Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2023
From Marlborough's biodynamic pioneer, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2023 represents a sophisticated evolution of New Zealand's signature varietal. This thoughtful blend showcases lifted notes of white passionfruit and lemon balm, enhanced by a savoury, leafy complexity contributed by Sémillon. The palate reveals remarkable texture and layered minerality, with slate-like acidity providing elegant structure and balance.
Composition: Sauvignon Blanc with Sémillon
Winemaking: Exclusive use of native yeasts from certified organic and biodynamically grown grapes
Aging: Portion aged on lees in oak barrels for added sophistication and texture
Wine Critic Reviews
Cameron Douglas MS (93): Very attractive bouquet of fruits and pungency, variety and power. Flavours of pineapple and fresh angelica leaf, red apple and gooseberry, nettles and white spice, cool stone minerality and fine lees. The acid line pulls everything together set in a medium-weighted style, slightly saline with a fleshy note on the finish. Well made, and ready to drink from 2024 through 2027+.
The Wine Front (89): About The Wine Front
James Suckling (90): Aromas of key lime pie, lemon confit and passion fruit on the nose. The palate is light- to medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a creamy mouthfeel, giving notes of lychees, red apples and flint. Nicely constructed and textural. Drink now.
