Wine Enthusiast (89): An indigenous Cypriot wine grape from one of the island's most influential wineries, this easy-drinking Xynisteri is bright and spritzy, making it an elegant aperitif wine also fit to pair with all sorts of vegetable and fish dishes. The nose has notes of tart citrus alongside ripe peaches and fresh cantaloupe, honeydew and other melons. Makarounas's estate is certified organic, and this wine is made via spontaneous fermentation with grapes from 40-year-old ungrafted vines. Vintage: 2022
