Discover the essence of Douro with the 2024 Pormenor Douro Branco, a testament to sustainable viticulture and the unique terroir of high-altitude vineyards. This wine embodies the rich tradition of the region, offering a delicate balance of natural acidity and flavor complexity.
Composition: A field blend of Rabigato, Malvasia Fina, Codega do Larinho, and Gouveio from vines at least 40 years old, planted at elevations between 450m and 650m.
Winemaking: The grapes are hand-selected and gently pressed, with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and a small portion in French oak barrels. There is no malolactic fermentation and no battonage.
Aging: The wine is aged in a combination of stainless steel and French oak barrels to enhance its natural profile.
