Villa Dora Caprettone 2023 is a testament to the unique terroir of Campania, Italy, where the volcanic soil of Mount Vesuvius imparts distinct characteristics to the wine. This exquisite white wine exudes a bright yellow color with golden reflections, offering an aromatic bouquet filled with ripe yellow fruit and subtle floral nuances of white flowers and chamomile. The ungrafted vines, aged around 70 years, contribute to a persistent sensation that is both rare and cherished in the wine world.
Composition: Made exclusively from Caprettone grapes. Vine age is 70-year-old ungrafted vines, nurtured in volcanic soil.
Winemaking: The wine undergoes an hour of maceration before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at reduced temperatures, ensuring a dry finish.
Aging: Aged on the fine lees for 5 to 6 months and remains in the tank for about a year before bottling.
