Wine Critic Reviews
Wine Enthusiast (96): This is now performing as one of the top Margaux estates. Their latest release shows structure, elegant black fruits and rich tannins. Densely textured and vibrantly fruity, the wine has a fine future. Drink from 2027.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider (96): Elegant, fresh and refined, the wine offers layers of sweet, ripe, fresh, red berries, smoke, flowers, wet earth, herbs, spice box and tobacco leaf in the perfume. On the palate, the wine is silky, lifted, long and pure, displaying a beautiful depth of flavor in the finish. The wine blends 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
Adrian van Velsen - vvWine.ch (96): Dark fruit, underlaid with cool minerality, floral tones resonate, much depth. On the palate powerful, round, yet highly elegant, silky tannins, crisp fruit. This wine has power and opulence, no question, but that does not exclude finesse. Great reserves. 2026 to 2048.
Vinum Wine Magazine (19): As already en primeur of special aromatic complexity, with subtle accents of black olive and red berries; the tannins are of special class and the finish literally sounds endlessly long; superb, without denying the vintage.
Falstaff (93): Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate rim brightening. Delicately savoury underlay of fresh heart cherries, candied orange zest, some nougat, mineral touch. Juicy, red wild berryish fruit, fresh acidity, fine, integrated tannins, a lively companion at the table, already accessible and well developed. (2020-2040).
