The 2022 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir delivers dark black fruits that slowly melt into all areas of the mouth. Focused acidity and fine dry tannins carry the rich blackberry, anise, cedar, black licorice, and mocha flavors toward the mid-palate. This leads to a lingering juicy finish of black cherry and dried currants.

Wine Review Online (93): A more earth-driven style than the fruity bright 2021 version of this wine, it satisfies with the depth that a little stemmy character can bring. Notes of pepper and dried herb complement the damp earth, black cherry and currants that make up the aroma and flavor profiles, and they finish long in layered fashion. Give this a good decanting to open it up, or use a large fishbowl glass to decant as you drink. Contains Clones 777, Martini, Hanzell and 943.
