Weingut Jager's 2023 Ried Steinriegl Riesling Federspiel embodies the unique terroir of the Wachau region. The vineyard is situated on the south-westerly flank of the Vorder Seiber, where the soil is a rare blend of lime, silicate, and marble, found only in this part of Weißenkirchen. This distinct geology imparts a remarkable minerality to the wine, which is further enhanced by the vineyard's meticulous winemaking philosophy that focuses on expressing the natural characteristics of the terroir.

Composition: 100% Riesling from vines nurtured in soils rich in lime, silicate, and marble.

Winemaking: The grapes are gently crushed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their pure fruit flavors.
