The Pinot Noir fruit is sourced from three vineyards; the majority from the village of Barolo, the rest from Dogliani. All sites are cooler north / north-east facing. This is a particularly aromatic, perfumed and attractive Pinot, with tantalizingly lifted aromatics and a finessed, silky texture on the palate. Gian Luca: “Pinot Nero 2020 is one of the best vintages I had in my life. It is a fine, elegant wine, very aromatic and drinkable and in the same time is pleasant and soft. Many peoples say it is Burgundy in blind tasting, it is not my target but I am happy about it!”

Vinification: Maceration and fermentation for 22-30 days depending on the vintage
Maturation: 100% in Big tank of Austrian Oak, and some terra cotta clay tanks, no filtration, no clarification. Bottling date depending on the vintage.
