Oenops Apla Dry Red 2023 represents the modern expression of Macedonia's indigenous grape varieties, crafted by Nikos Karavas at one of Drama's newest boutique wineries. This beautiful summer red showcases an intensively fruit-driven profile with vibrant aromas of cherry, fresh berries, and subtle hints of tomato leaves. The palate delivers excellent balance with smooth, fruity characteristics where Xinomavro contributes freshness and intensity, culminating in a vibrant finish that preserves the purity of the fruit.

Composition: 50% Xinomavro, 30% Limniona, 20% Mavroudi
Sourced from 15-45 year old vines in Macedonia, Thessaly Thrace region
Winemaking: Careful grape sorting followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks, old open-top barrels, and concrete vessels with short cold maceration
Aging: 9 months on fine lees in old barrels, concrete tanks, and stainless steel with no new oak to preserve fruit character
