Wine Critic Reviews

Wine Enthusiast (94): From Grand Cru villages on the Côte des Blancs, this Champagne is beautifully mineral and taut. It has white fruits and intense citrus giving texture and crispness. This is a fine wine, ready to drink.

Falstaff (94): Pale yellow with silver reflections. Green apple on the nose, lemon, subtle nutty and biscuit-like notes, some nougat. Citrus-fresh on the palate with fine, elegant mousse, ripe acidity, fruit and honey notes. Long finish with a salty impression.

Owen Bargreen (94): Created with a base of 2015 vintage Chardonnay sourced from Cotes de Blancs set on deep, chalky soils. The nose is particularly rich with lemon oil dusted Challah bread, cardamom and suggestions of Marcona almond. The palate is deep and concentrated with gorgeous orange rind and honeydew melon flavors alongside shades of salted pralines. Gorgeous to consume now, this has some brilliant aging potential.

Wine Enthusiast (94): Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs lends itself to a Champagne that is finely textured and impressively fruity and structured. The wine has a steely edge that suggests this bottling is young but that also has beautiful fruit and minerality. This bottling will be even better from 2023.

Falstaff (94): Medium yellow-green, silver reflections, fine, persistent mousse. Delicate floral underpinned white core fruit nuances, delicate mango and blossom honey, meadow herbs and biscuit, notes of apricot and almonds. Creamy texture, juicy and elegant, finesse-rich acid arc, yellow apple and pastry in the finish, mineral-salty in the aftertaste, very good length, a versatile food companion.
