The NV Brut Le Blancs de Blancs is a powerful, resonant Champagne. This is far from an easygoing Blanc de Blancs. Baked pear, tangerine oil, hazelnut, chamomile and dried flowers stain the palate. Readers will find a very serious NV Blanc de Blancs, a wine that is very much intended for the dinner table. Billecart's Le Blancs de Blancs will challenge plenty of more "prestigious" wines. The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is showing beautifully today, with aromas of confit citrus, pear, herbs, orchard fruits, pastry and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, it is round and supple with the delicate, bright tension that is the signature of Billecart-Salmon. Perfectly balanced and offering a vinous, toasty and elegantly long finish, it's based on the 2017 vintage with 23% from 2016. Vinified and matured in stainless steel, it spent five years on the lees in bottle before being disgorged with a dosage of 3.9 grams per liter.

Our Note: Lemon yellow bright and shimmering.  Pronounced nose, bright, fresh, lemon, lime, floral, saline, chalk, mineral.  Pretty on the palate, medium body, finely rounded edges, electric and fresh. Pronounced and precise palate, fresh, energetic.  Long, pretty, fresh and energetic, super classic BdB finish.

Composition: 100% Chardonnay. Sourced from the finest Grand Cru vineyards, where the vine age and chalky soils contribute to the wine's complexity.
Winemaking: The wine undergoes a meticulous fermentation process, with a focus on preserving the purity of the Chardonnay grapes.
Aging: Aged on lees for an extended period to enhance depth and richness.
