One of my ALL TIME favorite Viognier wines, you can't beat the quality here for the price. While this is not Condrieu, it bests many that are Condrieu that demand 50-100% more in price.
70% 1970s Viognier, 30% 1990s Viognier from Condrieu, steel vat fermented at 18°, then raised 60% vat, 40% large barrel 7 months, officially organic since 2020, 10,000 b

yellow robe; there is real intensity of pear on the nose, apricot juice with it – it prolongs well. The palate gives a good, dancing line of white fruits, is very much Viognier of its heartlands with cut and definition, drinks well and freshly. It’s very bouncy and true, shows touches of violets on the finish. 13.5°. 2029-30 Feb 2023
