Wine Critic Reviews
Wine Enthusiast (92): Matured 12 to 18 months in oak, this Grenache-dominant blend (accented by smaller proportions of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault) has concentrated flavors of blackberry preserve and dried plum. Voluminous but freshly balanced, the velvety black-fruit flavors are muted by earthen shades of granite, dried sage and char. Ready now, the wine should drink at peak through 2028.
Falstaff (92): Deep ruby, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Fine fruit of the forest berries, blackberries, delicate liquorice, mineral touch, and soft wood notions. Juicy, elegant, lush sweetheart cherries, fine tannins, savoury and persistent. A vibrant food accompaniment, will benefit from ageing.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider (93): Ripe, dark, spicy, sweet, lush, round and fruity, with layers of deep, fleshy cherries, black raspberries and pepper. Round, plush, lively and long, this is going to age quite nicely. Give it a few years in the cellar for the oak to better integrate.
