100% Sangiovese from estate vines that are about 20-30 years of age. Planted in sandstone and clay soils. Wild yeasts kick off the spontaneous fermentation, a 12- to 15-day maceration on the skins, that is carried out in a mix of concrete and steel vats. The wine matures further in concrete for at least 6 months, bottled and then released.
