Les Montchenevaux au Levant is a lieu-dit parcel of 100% chardonnay from pure chalk. In this vineyard, the Waris-Larmandier siblings have incorporated high pillar trellising and they do not trim the vine shoots, rather braiding them instead. Explosive, rich and mineral, with citrus fruit aromas and notes of pastry and dried fruit, Les Montchenevaux is serious and complex, with an enchanting nose, distinct minerality, cutting structure, massive midpalate, and explosive finish.
