The purpose of L’Esquisse is to bring together the new and young plots of the estate. As this wine is made to be fruity and tasted quite young, we add a significant proportion of tailles, which makes L’Esquisse very easy drinking.

Our Tasting Note:
Le Taille 40% so some color stays in the wine, gris/pink color. Meant for easy drinking and man does it go down easy. Fruity nose, apple, mandarin, peach, med body, med length, m+/pronounced nose, palate.

TERROIR AND SOILS:  

• Cuisles, Jonquery, Châtillon-sur-Marne.
• 90% of the soils are composed of green clays over limestone marls.

VINIFICATION

• Malolactic fermentation
• Use of homemade mine sulfur
• Dosage: 2 g/l
• 18 months before disgorging on 7/28/23
