My Tasting Note: Med+ ruby color, you can also see through this sample pour. A pronounced perfume in the nose of ripe red strawberry, bing cherry, red plum, dark red currants, hee too there is a lot of lift to the darker red fruits. The nose is such a jpy to go back to and just keep sniffing. Granite mineral notes form a core here that is wrapped in the fruit and framed by the savory and spice from the stem inclusion. The palate is med+ in body, with medium acidity and med/med+ tannin that are ripe and add a level more of structure than the Brouilly which is just fine here as it goes well with the additional density of this VV wine. The flavors are pronounced and layered, the wine's obvious additional weight from the older vine fruit is easily noticeable. The finish is long, deep, and fresh with fruit, granite, and the uptick in tannic structure. Gorgeous!
