"Paradosso" by Cantina Trabucco is a unique expression of Primitivo as a white wine, offering a delightful paradox in winemaking. Nestled in the Monte Massico area of Campania, this vineyard benefits from a rich terroir influenced by volcanic intrusions, which contributes to the wine's distinctive character. The nose reveals enticing aromas of tropical fruits like passion fruit and papaya, complemented by a hint of tomato leaf. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, sapid, and ample, providing a refreshing and complex tasting experience.
Composition: Primitivo grapes from Monte Massico. Vine age and soil type: Clay, sand with volcanic intrusions.
Winemaking: Soft pressing of red Primitivo grapes at low temperature, immediate skin separation.
Aging: Best served at 50° F.
